The Cliff Armchair is an elegant chair, with a lot of beautiful design details. The fully upholstered seat and back with flex, give the chair very high comfort. Cliff also comes in a version without arm – you are free to mix.
In the design process the carpenter and designer Morten Svendsen has focused on a very beautiful chair, which matches the customer’s wish of a comfortable chair. At the same time, it gives a flexible seating comfort for the long cosy dinner night at home, in a restaurant or in the home office etc.
Besides the comfort Morten paid a lot of attention to the craftsmanship of the frame; especially the arm. It was important to maintain the slim look, nice finger joint details and a solution which lives up to the PBJ Designhouse standards of an armchair.
Visually the focus was to find the balance in the seat and back between the organic shapes, the many details and the frame
The chair is made from solid wood. The flexible back is constructed from 5 mm metal, covered in matching veneer.
Seat height is 46 cm. The chair comes in light oak, black oak and walnut, and can be upholstered in several high-end fabrics and leathers.
