Morten Svendsen
Morten Svendsen, born in 1966, became a cabinet maker in the mid 80s. Right from the beginning, he was dedicated to furniture design, loved to draw, design and make his own furniture. In the beginning family and friends benefitted from these designs coming out of his little workshop.
As the years passed by and after several employments in different furniture factories, it became his profession, and in 1996 he bought the furniture factory PBJ in Spøttrup.
René Hougaard
Since 2003 René Hougaard, who is an educated architect, has been working with some of the world’s leading industrial design and furniture companies, where he has developed a fine approach to Danish design.
He opened his own Design Studio in 2014 – Arde Design Studio – where he has made a lot of new designs, which are simultaneously art, functionality and beauty.
Charlotte Wegener
Charlotte Wegener, born in 1961, is an educated designer from Danmarks Designskole (The Danish School of Design). Since 1984 she has worked as an interior designer and furniture designer for, among others, Scan Office for whom she designed three office furniture series and a range of other specialty products. Charlotte Wegener started her own firm, Wegener Design, in 2011.
Michael H. Nielsen
Michael H. Nielsen, architect MDD, was born 1958 and educated at Danmarks Designskole (The Danish School of Design) receiving top marks in design. After graduating he was selected to work at Sven Ellekærs furniture design studio.
